Mexico: FMF Chooses Match Analysis for League-Wide Development

MEXICO CITY, Mexico - In a huge move for Mexican Football, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación (FMF) has selected Match Analysis to provide league wide support for its eighteen clubs, the Federación, its referees, and the Mexican National Team.

Under the deal, Match Analysis will cover all 342 matches of the Liga Mexicana during the 2008 and 2009 tournaments and will provide its full suite of analytical tools and services including Mambo Studio and Tango Online to every club in the league.

The deal developed as a result of Match Analysis's successful work with Monterrey, Morelia, Chiapas, Cruz Azul, Chivas Guadalajara, and the Mexican National Team.

Under the leadership of FMF President Justino Compeán and General Secretary Decio de María, the FMF has rapidly developed the technological backbone of football in Mexico. The addition of Match Analysis's online video and statistical database covering every touch by every player and available to every club and player league-wide secures Mexico's place as one of the most technologically advanced leagues in the world.
